In our previous Pure Woodland Radio review, we discussed Pure's talent for creating compact, cutting-edge IP67-rated DAB and FM radios. The brand is consistently highlighted in our guide to the best DAB radios. But what if you're looking for something with a more classic design? Pure caters to that need too with its new Classic Series.
The Classic Series
The Classic Series introduces three new radios. Beginning with the affordable Classic H4, a great companion for any kitchen, moving to the mid-range Classic C-D6, and finally, the flagship Classic Stereo. These radios promise a timeless style combined with advanced connectivity and superior sound quality. They are available in two color options: ‘Coffee Black/Walnut' or ‘Cotton White/Oak'.
The Classic H4
Starting with the smallest model, the Classic H4, this DAB+/FM radio also features Bluetooth connectivity. It boasts a 10W power output, a capacity store up to 40 presets, which is impressive considering its affordable pricing, and it comes with a kitchen timer to keep cooking tasks on track. Check out the Classic H4 on Amazon to learn more about this model.
The Classic C-D6
As for the Classic C-D6, it adds a CD player, advanced Bluetooth, USB-A, and AUX connectivity to the usual FM/DAB+ radio. This model further includes 2x15W stereo speakers and a sleep timer. The CD player stands as its unique selling point. For more details, head over to the C-D6 Amazon page.
The Classic Stereo
Finally, the Classic Stereo, touted by Pure as “the gateway to refined HiFi sound wrapped in a comforting, familiar setup,” showcases a set of stereo speakers and a receiver. It's equipped with features like DAB+/FM radio, Internet radio, Bluetooth, CD playback, Spotify Connect, and additional connectivity options such as USB-A, Optical (for connecting to your TV), Phono (for a turntable), and 3.5mm AUX ports (for headphones). It carries a 100W power output, making it suitable for both party atmospheres and casual home listening. Visit the Classic Stereo Amazon Page for more information.
The Pure Classic range is now available. The Classic H4 comes around $114, the Classic C-D6 costs approximately $227, while the Classic Stereo will set you back around $567. Given the wide array of features and connectivity options in these models, these are reasonable prices in our opinion.
